Found a CL-S 6MT

I've been looking for CLS 6MT to trade into but there really hard to find. But a few minutes ago I call a local Acura dealer who said they have a red one. Supposedly its also a program car that has never been titled. The dealer said that it has 12K miles. But he also didn't sound like he knew his product. 'Cause when I asked for a "CL Type-S with a manual transmission" he said "with 2 doors or 4?" "Then I said I want the CL with a manual", and he said "what year?" One thing I can't stand is people in sales that don't know their product(s). Anyways do you think a demo car with that many miles would be trade worthy (assuming I get the right prices)?

only if its cheap. To me it doesnt matter if it was never titled, 12k miles is still being a USED car.

I'd be scared what test drivers have done to that car

Yea the clutch on the 6 speed is also not the easiest to get used too. If you are gonna get it make sure you get a good price and get the clutch checked out from another dealer or shop preferably. There are a few 6 speed cls on here for sale 2 you might wanna look at.

BTW do CLS/TLS use the same CT headers as the 6mt? I checked CT's website and the part numbers were the same. But I thought I read a post that said the sways won't fit on the 6mt with the headers installed. 'Cause I will definitely be keeping my upgrades

What wont fit with the headers is the neuspeed lower tie bar. Not sways. Youll be fine with the headers.

You're right though, that clutch is very tricky. I drove a 6mt for a few days during the summer. It seemed like there was no "slowly disengaging the clutch. Either engaged or disengaged.

Your right about that, drove a 6 speed this summer and I had the same thought. But damn did I enjoy it, damn too bad it's a program car, I would love a SMR 6MT.

I'm not sure where you're at, but in Utah (At Jody Wilkinson Acura) they have a black 03 M/T CL-S that is a "demo" car (the owner drove it) w/ 6K miles if you're interested.

I don't work for them and am not making anything...just an FYI.
