I LOVE f1. Next to rally, F1 is the only real track racing out there.

Mikka's cool but gotta love muh boy Montoya I just wish that honda could get some half decent drivers.

I'm with you there. Still miss Senna, best ever imho. I'm pulling for Montoya, he should be close this year.

F1 is aight, i plan on getting into it this season, but it still seems to be just a parade of very fast cars. There isn't much action. This might be just because TV ruins every sport.

What are you watching????? Speedvision's coverage is excellent! ABC's coverage of the U.S. Grand Prix ruined the experience but i don't see how you can make those comments.

Probably the Monaco Grand Prix, a total parade. Formula One can be extremely boring with the car on the pole never losing the lead.

A pass every 5 minutes in a race that only take about 50mins to complete is pretty good. Passing really depends on the race. Some tracks make it difficult for people to over take but others really allow people to take chances. The attraction of F1 is not in the passing that occurs; rather, the engineering of the different engines, aero packages and driver skill.

I disagree with you 100%. The car in the pole does lose the lead. However, when that pole sitter is M.Schumacher the lead isn't often lost

Yeah, if i recall, some of those qualifying engines had over 1,000 H.P. !! They could barely finish qualifying without blowing up. Detuned for the Grand Prix of course. I miss those.

Which is why I said I am going to pay attention and get into it this season, because just from watching, it is quite boring. Not quite NASCAR boring, but nowhere near the excitement of Rallaye.

Well. an oval......

That's exciting, NOT

Formula one is very nice if you follow the season.
Europe has got some good coverage including the training days and the pit reports, same like indycart.
Of course there are boring races but most of the time there is a lot going on.
40 seconds lead doesn't mean it is boring.
Most of the tracks take 1,5 hour to complete.
Montreal is one of the more boring circuits and the US race is a little slow in the mid section which I think should be changed just a littlebit.
The real power of F1 is lost a littlebit on this circuit but the nice parts is that you can see a Formula one car on an oval once in a while.
One very interesting detail was the fact that the top speed on the oval part was reduced to gain higher lap times.
Monaco is just a part of the F1 history but not a real F1 circuit anymore.
Coming season doesn't look exciting when I see the driver line up but we wait and see.
About the turbo sound, ever heard the V10's?
They are really loud, very nice.
I watched Spa live at eau rouge, the nice curve going steep up and incredibly impressive in real, and you could hear the bottom plates smashing against the asphalt while running full throttle, absolutely super!
Next best series is the Australian V8 supertouring cup.
