Ford Focus under the microscope!

For four issues, two concerning airbags, one engine fires, and another bearings in the rear wheels that could cause them to FALL OFF.

Gotta love Ford.

This info courtesy of The Early Show or whatever this crap is called on CBS.

And they wonder why even Americans are willing to pay a little more for imports ... Unpatriotic ? I think not, consumers just want to get GOOD DAMN QUALITY for their hard earned money

I don't think you will find any wide spread "failing transmission" problems if you check Consumer Reports. Acura TL and CL both rate a full circle (Best score) for transmissions.

BMW's engine fires were a full blown recall that affected around 50-70k vehicles so that would be a legit example I guess.

Never heard of the Toyota sludge recall so I can't comment on that.

Wow that problem has been around for quite sometime now. Gotta hand it to Ford for fixing things fast!

I know someone with a 2000 Ford Focus(or as i call the F#CKus)
anyhow he told me since 2000 it's had 8 or 9 RECALLS .
I got another friend who's riceing out a Ford EXP(which hot rod package in Escorts)(with his turbo on he's turning 150-170)(he's talking about adding a few other extras to kick it up to 200 HP)(but all in all it's a SUPER SLEEPER(it looks so junky)(do it yourself paintjob ,and stock rims)He's saving up for a new SVT Focus(and I'm saving for my type S he said that will be a good race (yeah right)(I could have a terrible R/T(reaction Time) and still catch him. )
