Are they worth shit .. do they do anything? I found one at the O'hare airport parking lot several months ago and picked it up. I know its illegal for me to have it on my plates ... but I wanted to see if it'd work, I was like if this helps me get out of even one ticket then it'd be worth it.

But those damn things dont seem to account for crap. I mean everytime I get pulled over, like last night .. the cop pulled me over for an illegal lane change (no turn signal).. I get a ticket!!

Anybody have one of these on their car? I know you get like stickers, license plate frames, tags, badges decals, everything .. ?

Nope.

They call you to make donations for community activities (like free donuts at the station) and you get stickers and little memorabilia. Family members of the police get a little pin that goes into your wallet (At least in New York they do).

Most Law enforcement officers have confidential plates through the motor vehicle department of their state and thus do not rely on FOP or other LEO stickers. Here in CALI all officers records are confidential, meaning that when any PD runs your license plate it comes back showing your agencies (PD) name. Having a sticker on your vehicle will not help at all usually. I do not recommend putting anything on your vehicle that might have someone thinking your a cop.
Can you say vehicle vandalism!

What you get is a card of an inspector and put it on your dash. In plain view, when meter maids drive by...they see the card and move on.
