Fog lights cracked (again)

Hello. I had this same problem in the twanger. 5 times I had to replace the fog lights because a rock would crack the covering, leading to water condensing on the light and BOOM, the light blows out. Yesterday, while washing my car (2001 CL) , I noticed a crack from a rock which leads me to my question:

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again? Maybe some aftermarket covers? Something, anything would help at this point! Thanks in advance.

Those Clear bra people make a light kit. I have it on my CL-S. Put it on a few weeks ago. It's a clear plastic that goes over the headlights, & road lamps. It goes on like window tint.

Good news. Just talked to the parts guy. The CL fog light assembly is not one peice as was the case in my Mustang. A new lense cost about 40 bucks. However, the TL is ALL one peice meaning a cracked cover requires shelling out 200 bones for a assembly. Only in America.....

I ordered a extra set of lights from stongard.com and only used my headlight portion again since I had the fogs covered already. THis stuff is thick and gurantees to protect your lights. I have the fogs still new in the package if you want them? The kit isn't cheap, normally $59.95, I can sell you those for..... $25 shipped for just the fogs.

It's easy to install too.

I can tell you how if you want to buy them.
