Flashing Service Light?

Flashing Service Light?
When I start the car, the light on the lower left side of the tach - the one that says service engine or something like that flashes about 8 times and then shuts off. Anyone know anything about this?

Read your manual. It is just a reminder.
It starts flashing when you are within 500 miles of a major service (I believe). They'll reset it when you take the car in, or you can do it yourself. The instructions are in the manual too.
