easy one, my light weight wheel friend...goto auto parts store of choice, pick up another set of hangers ,and install one front and rear on the right side exhaut when looking at the car from the rear...all will be good...i recomend using the style that comes on the car...warning it is a pain in the ass and you should use some spray lub...

Just put hose clamps around the existing rubber hangers - it allows you to make small adjustments, or to raise further so there's not such a large gap. IMHO, a different rubber hanger is not going to solve the problem becuase it has to do with the angle of the bends of the new muffler mounting rods!

i'm wearing the additional rubber hangers and it has permentanly solved the problem...Mike if i were to concider an exhaust it would be comps with silencer or MINI draggers,no ,offense ,but the draggers for the accord just seem too much for me...

Titand19, I bought them used but check out www.autocarparts.com They're very easy to install. Only 2 bolts and 2 hangers to deal with per side. Just make sure you have a breaker bar or a large wrench cuz you'll need it to get the exhaust off.

Holy smokes where'd you come from? Long time no see! Thanks for the tip. I think I try the clamp first and see how that goes. How big of a clamp did you use?
