Fit and Finish
Fit and Finish
This may be a stupid question....
What exactly does the term "fit and finish" encompass?
Thanks!

I think it has come to encompass the overall build quality of the entire car.
"fit" - how the body panels and interior trim pieces fit together, how much of a gap there is
"finish" - the quality of the paint job.

That's pretty much what I thought. I think I must have one of the newer production models. My driver's door doesn't fit exactly perfect and I do have several rattles. Maybe I should have waited for a later model.
