First race ~~> Victory

I just got my cl-s a few months ago and at last got my first race. A guy pulled up next to me at a light in a new si and looked over. He pulled just a little on me in 1st and as soon as I got in 2nd I was gone. When i got into 3rd I just let off the gas and waited for him. It was nice!!

when i said no match for acura cl, i meant to say civic, left that word out, sorry. and the accord v6 is pretty much the same as the cl-s. and s2000 is just fast, especialy for a 2.2, crazy how they kcik out 240 hp, but only 162 lbs of torque, they should twin turbo that engine.

They cant turbo it, the compression is already too high.

The superchargers were in R and D for so long because it turns out that spinning them out to 9000 rpms grenades them.

That engine was NEVER meant to be used with FI. Even the SC's that are out now don't add but what 30-40hp? They aren't even worth it. A SC'd s2000 doesnt even run in the 12's.

Did you see the new year model? The lowered the peak power to high 7k's on the tach (although you can still take it to 9k). And the torque is useless, I hope, if you buy one, that your driveway is flat.

Your CL-S should be able to out-drag it at the track. They hardly ever go below 14.5's....

i don't plan on getting the s2000, too small, i am looking at the 350z, its a lil bigger, more torque and hp, and i don't think gas mileage is that much worse. and the 2005 is looking kinda old school, looking at that too, its just underpowered, i'm more torwards the 350z.
