First problems at 72k - Advise?
Guys/Gals,
Need a little advise and/or guidance here.
I have had my '03 CL-S Auto for 4 years now, and haven't had a single issue.
Last week, my SRS light started staying lit. I know there is a service notification about this, so I was going to have it addressed next week when I took it in for an oil change. But last night, the TCS, check engine and VSA lights all lit up on me.
This morning only the Check Engine and SRS remained lit, but now when I push the accelerator to the floor to hit my passing gear, the car just revs, and nothing...
Is the tranny shot???
Any help is greatly appreciated.

im sure you can put two and two together, but the SRS is the airbag, so it shouldnt be related to the "check engine" light...there might be something eletrical that went wrong...that happened to mine...i had the srs light come on, and simply put in a new airbag, and now everything is perfect! maybe that vsa light is electrical...so with those 2 lights nothing is wrong with your car, but it just needs to be rewired etc...(if you have what i had)
the check engine should just be scheduled maintanence w/ 72k, but since your obviously having problems there, thats what the issue is, and it then threw off some electrical wiring...from my experience, i wouldnt worry bout SRS and VSA,
so just get the drivetrain checked out ASAP...hope it wont be too bad/costly

My baby needs a new tranny.
Was scary driving it to the dealership for service this morning. The tranny all but gave out on the way there. I was about a mile away and I lost all acceleration, but 1st gear, I coasted down the hill and into the service lane. Whewww
All the repairs are covered under warranty, thank God! SRS issue is covered as well. Nice to see Acrua stand behind their product for better or worse.
I get to drive around in a RDX loaner for a few days, little 4 banger has some sweet turbo power. Norris Acura in Ellicott City, MD treats you well.
