Cree LED backup lights. These are great. I need to get some for my truck now Might even hook some up to my trailer.

My first mod was removing the sunroof wind deflector. Gets rid of that damn hissing sound. Turns it into a deep base tone that much quieter, yes a tad of wind creeps in the car but I like it being quite vs that stupid hiss...

Was always a terrible design on the Cl imho

Is it integrated into the sunroof or was it one of those aftermarket deflectors? I haven't looked close at mine. I'm just glad there is a sunroof. Helps my claustrophobia
Okay... the pic you've all been waiting for

You can't tell much about them from the pic except they're bright. They put out a lot of usable light though... whatever the tech term for that is. They are functional. For 10 bux I think they were a deal.

Two star screw and then two little brackets will come out along with two clips that supply the spring tension to the deflector. This was 5 years ago so if I am a little off on the parts, my bad lol

If I am wrong u can put it back on, no harm to foul..

But I cannot see how anyone would not like the difference. My friends were amazed the difference it made.

I'll try some freeway driving w/ the sunroof open first. In the summer here you don't want to open the sunroof in the daytime. The sun will fry your brain

Just pull the deflector down on the highways. It goes from hiss to a deeper base noise. U don't even have to remove it to see the difference

Definitely noticeable
Okay, not a mod but maintenance/repair that is probably underappreciated. Much better than the stick I was using and $26 shipped for 2 at rockauto w/ the discount code.

I remember when I first discovered my hood shocks needed to be replaced.. when the hood almost hit me when I was topping up windshield washer fluid in the winter.

I might try that backup light mod this spring though...have always thought brigher light would help

They are bright. I mean they put out a lot of illumination not just bright light for show. I should take a pic of them. They look like little ebay cree flashlight lenses
