Now you guys know what it feels like to own an M3. People steal our side mirrors all the time-- not to mention our badges, side moldings etc.....

I've been hearing of a LOT of side mirror theft on the Mercedez-Benz with the directional lights built into them... You think we have problems... the new MB's (CLK, S) are a goldmine for theives HID'd, SideMirrors w/directionals, Rims, emeblems.... ouch.... not too cheap to replace either...

I had one of my side mirrors stolen in my 95 camry, but at least they did a nice job in taking it out, they didnt scratch my car at least.

Kinda reminds me why I don't take the face off my stereo.... if my car was stolen, i'd rather have it all gone then to have my stereo face as a momento....

 

Looks like someone should start the R&D process for a protective BUBBLE SHIELD around the CL-S....

I guess it is all part of the price you pay for driving a nice car!

What use would people have for the MB S-class mirrors? I know they look cool and all that, but can you use them on any other car besides a benz? If so, I'm gonna steal them from my dads black S500 and put them on my black TL-S when I get it... hahahaha.

Thieves will steal anything....anything. Air conditioner from business' rooftops, trees from the city park, concrete from the supermarket parking lot, tabs from your license plates, traffic lights and stop signs, they will even try to steal the light emitted from a full moon.

hey kensteele,
i was in overland park last weekend 'cuz that's where the closest mall is to where i' assigned, even though it's 2 FREAKIN HOURS AWAY!

they should have one of those anti-theft devices that shoot fire onto the theives feet...but knowing some of the legit people out there, the owners would be gettin burned too.

my friend had his registration sticker (the one that goes on the license plate) stolen...they just took snips and cut it off.

 

Wichita? Topeka? Leavenworth? Lawrence? Honestly there's not much in most of Kansas outside of Kansas City or eastern Kansas. I live only about 5 minutes from Oak Park Mall in Overland Park and 10 minutes from Great Mall of the Great Plains in Olathe.
