First Gen CL vs. Sec Gen CL-S

I was wondering if anyone has the 0-60 and the 1/4 mile times for the First Gen CL 3.0 and the Sec Gen 3.2CL-S. I know that the CL-S has the extra 60 hp, but the car looks so heavy that I cant image that the extra 60 hp could make that much faster.

Not to mention the extra 30+ lbs. of torque at a reasonable 3500rpms...I think it makes a big difference!!
The CL 3.0 is approximately 15.9 in the 1/4 mile...best ET I've seen in a mag.
The CL 3.2 Type-S runs in 15.1....absolutely the slowest time!!! The best run in a mag is 14.7 @ 96mph...how they did that...I'm still wondering...

Brake-torqued to 6900 and had 6 guys pushing .. four in back, two flanking the windows .. like in the Indy circuit.

That's what I thought, too.

Is it limited by the ECU? Will Xephyr's upcoming ECU raise (or get rid of) the limiter?

the ecu should remove any top speed limiter on the car, but it won't have an impact on the torque converter stall speed. to change that, you'll have to upgrade to a higher stall converter (like a level 10 tc).
