First CL-S Problem

Minor though. My CD changer is stuck. I can't get any CD's to play, eject, or load. I get an ER-E1 whe I try. I didn't do anything it just happend. Any ideas on a reset? I tried pulling power, then entering the code with no luck. I do not hear the CD gears move at all either. I guess it's a dealer trip after new years. I'm still on my road trip in NYC.

Do you by any chance have CDR's with glue-on labels in there?

No, There all factory CD's. I was able to get #6 out & then it stopped working. The door is stuck open too. Maybe the cold weather in NYC. In FL, it doesn't get below 60 offen.

Yeah, but if they have to order a new one, or take it out, I'll just wait till I'm back in FL. I need to get the springs put on for the trunk anyway. Might as well do 1 trip. I guess I better make some cassettes for the 1200 mile trip back to Fl

That actually happened to me one time... The CD got stuck in there and I used a pair of tweezers to pull the one out and then it worked fine. Good Luck.

Doubt it's the cold weather.. I've never had that problem. Plus, a lot of people would have this problem. Maybe some of the CDs are thicker then others and caused a jam??

I had this exact same problem, and used the same remedy.

I also used the tweezers, but this just happened yesterday and we started the car up again and it ejected. So who knows.
