well, it was a GLE, so obviously an auto ... still had the temp plates on it. i saw the hid's come up on my, downshift to second at around 50, and waiting, he looked over an punched it ... as soon as I saw him dip, i floored it, passed him before 80. 'nuff said, still waiting for one of those 6sp SE's with the LSD though ... oh, dont none of you max boys start hopping on me, my bro owns a 2k Max SE (and frequents your board), and I spank him daily...

I just bought my 2k2maximaSE my buddy owns the cl-s type acura he paid extra for the transmission problem he suffered through for 37 grueling days. So next time you blow past me in your CL-S I'll be thinking about your downtime while your trans is getting fixed.

Yo, guys, I wasn't trying to fuck with you . I have driven the CL-S and I like it. I'm am basing my OPINION on my friends problem (after 25000 he had the whole tranny replaced)and others who visit maxima forums wanting to find out more info on the Maxima. Perhaps, I should have put a smilie face behind my comment as to not to offend you guys.

well, i have run into plenty of those maximas and i have beat them all, i love spankin them on I-95 in florida. I have yet to stab a knife in the back of a 2k2 SE with a stick, but with what im running, its not a problem, check out my baby while those maximas just drool at my cars hot looks and spankin new rims.

You'll only own the low end until the manual comes out. Then it'll be completely driver dependent. Oh, and it the '03 CLS comes with 290+ hp we'll own you again!

No actually our auto is faster than your auto. BTW, the 3.0 auto Max's from '95-01 simply destroy the CL-P - don't even get me started on the 3.0CL (16.2-16.5 )

But that is an AEM cold-air intake. Mine is simply a K&N cone filter with custom mounting. I am definitely not taking away from the TL/CL's - I traded in my 2000 WDP TL w/CAI, Comptech e/h/s, and OEM bodykit for my Maxima. I would be driving a NBP CL-S if my dealer had offered me more than 20K because "we can't sell a highly modified car ) But after I drove the Max - I'm very happy. A maxima.org member has a custom y-pipe and b-pipe with hi-flow intake in his 2K2 autotragic and is CONSISTANTLY running 13.8's@102. That's my next 600 dollar mod
