I've been dying to run BMW 330 Ci. I was just coming from a rim shop looking for some 20's on my TL , and I accidently cut off this bimmer. Well bimmer guy took offense to my driving style and started to ride my ass. We were in a 2 lane highway and traffic was tight so pissed off bimmer guy took the shoulder around 3 cars so he can get next to me. He then proceeded to be even more dumb and cut me off at about 70 mph. From that point it was on, traffic opened up and we hit it. I flew pass this Honda Insight I swear the nuts and bolts flew off that little thing I passed it so fast and blew pass the bimmer. I slowed down so the dumb ass can catch up and then hit it again at 80, I got to 130 and that piece of crap 330ci was about 4 car lengths behind me. I haven't pushed my TL as much as I did today and I loved it. I'm glad I have wifey the Aviator and kept the TL for me. Now Acura just needs to bring out a new CL

an 03cl-s 6mt should have the edge on a highway run i believe.

Very nice The new TL's should be just fine with the 330ci's. Here is a thread I had from a long while back of a 330ci that I had raced https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102303 . Against a 03TL-S it was definitely a drivers race, which I did by keeping it fairly close from a launch. Nice to see we are still handing it to the BMW's , although be careful of the next gen 3 series, those are going to be some quick cars. Keep it safe!

You should be neck and neck with an M3 as it is right? With a 13.477 105mph quarter, that's what a lot of the M3's are hitting.

 

yet the TL owner is the asshole who cut him off.

Maybe the 330 owner wasnt dumb enough to speed recklessly on a public street.

 

M3's trap about the same MPH, but I've seen them get a better 1/4 time. Gotta love the RWD advantage. I'd hazard to guess that the M3 would still get me pretty easily after I hit 4th gear though (above 108mph)...which is why I need the intercooler.

 

I cut him off by accident he was in my blind spot and it wasn't on public streets it was on the highway. He could of left it alone, but chose to take it to the next level. Being you are one of them I understand your comments.

 

He should have read your post more clearly, but choose to take it personal I guess . .

now if he said the guy was being a jerk and you responded in kind (like many of us do from time to time) that would have been ok, but to attack you and defend the Bimmer . . .

BTW . . good kill as it should be . . . I've still to loose to a 3Series . . . not saying I can beat them all, just haven't met one yet that can

nice run. something like that happened to me where i was taking an exit and as i merged into the lane i diudint even see the car coming in from an exit as some exits going in and out use the same lane until you merge into the other lanes. I was like o shit.. didnt mean too.. So basically it was cutting him off and the driver got mad. AS i was slowly down some more getting ready to take the exit the guy well guys i could see threw a penny at my car.. I couldnt do much because i was already in the exit going in circle....I wish sometimes theres some way to say "IM SORRY"

 

yea... Those cars are intimidating.. But TLs need to make a bigger brother too...Or that new CL as the bigger brother..
