Red face finally my pdg cls is back (w pics)

Well my girlfriend hit my car about a month ago and tore the driver side up pretty bad. Then I was driving home from work 2 days later (usually I dont drive the car during the week im trying to build it for shows, I have an old q45 I drive to work) anyway some idiot with a pickup is going down I4 with it loaded w wood and tree branches and crap. to make a long story short the guy in front of me sees the shit in the street and swerves out of the way and I hit it and bent both rims on the passenger side of the car and blew out the tires. so I just got it back had the rims straightened best they could. and im pretty happy. check out my pics and let me know what you think. Thanks

That's some bad luck for not driving it often.

But damn nice, it's always cool to see a PDG with a bodykit. I see you blacked your headlights out too, I was planning on doing that next week, heh.

I will sell mine or I can make you one if you send me your stock pieces, Its a bit expensive but im the only one w that engine cover as far as I know you cant buy it anywhere. I had mine done on my little CL-P by a place called 'exoticwooddash.com' . I think I got ripped off...paid about $350 and it's just a synthetic wrap over the existing pieces. It looks great though.

i have a 7 yard roll of 12k 2x2 cloth, but when i was experimenting with a few small pieces (back speaker cover where 3rd brake light is) and (rear storage counsel) it didn't come out right, the epoxy didnt cure right, and looked ugly, where did you get your epoxy? whats it called.. and the ratio.. i was planning to do all my plastic pieces also.. but looks like you have the hang of it, if you are willing to cure some pieces for me, id be willing to ship you my cf, and the parts, depends how much you want though.. maybe you can just give me a few pointers.. i dont have a vaccum bag or anything, i just tried doing the brush technique...

350 to 400 is normal if its a real carbon fiber overlaying if not its a little too much. your mostly paying for labor. yes its the 99 accord aem big brake kit. and as for doing it yourself I use brushes and stuff no vacume sealer I work out of my garage. Its all technique and a LOT of time. ANYTHING custom will cost you, its the price you pay to be unique. The chrome intake cover is hot i want one of those.

I'm assuming you mean the intake manifold cover... The plastic cover can't be powedercoated but I suppose the intank manifold itself could be.

I've never seen a 2nd Gen CL with the AEM BBK. How is it? More pics please! Especially of the rear. Does it require any modifications?

that much for a engine cover? i'll pass, i didn't even pay that much for my trunk when we first got it customized.. maybe you can point me in the right direction to getting some quality epoxy, and help me out on the technique part with a few pointers, i am a diy type of person anyway, plus i spent hundreds on these materials that i should put to use

I didnt like it at first but its grown on me. I have the original "wings" that go in the center of the stock grill overlayed in carbon fiber if anyone wants to buy them for a stock grill. pm me .

I've seen you driving around before, at first I thought you were Acura-JL, but noticed it was different. I wanna say I saw your car up in Sanford/Longwood I could very well be wrong.

What all do you have done to it?

You should definitely try to make it to nopi. The classes for acuras have been broken down this year. Only the TLs, CLs, and Vigors are in the same class. Last year it was RLs, TLs, CLs, Legends, Vigors, TSXs all in the same class.
