Finally Installed my AEM CAI. I recorded what my engine now sounds like.

After installing the CAI my engine sounds awesome. Check this out.

Outside the car you can here a definite hissing noise. I made sure all of my connections where tight. Also when I turn the car off it makes a noise like its depressurizing or something. Is this normal or did I do something wrong.

Come on rookies.

When is someone going to record this in Dolby Digital or DTS so I can sit in the middle of my Theater Room and hear what it REALLY sounds like?

Did you record this while in park or was it somehow recorded while driving...Mine for some reason when flooring it makes a real growling V-8 sound...but it could be contributed from the headers and exhaust..

What happened to 4th?? Well in terms of the recording and why you dont hear 4th.... I know my 3rd is good for ~110 - 114 MPH.... So if you dont hear 4th ... its because I ran out of road

I dont mean 110MPH in 11 secs. That would be one hell of a quarter mile run though wouldnt it ? LOL I mean that with 3rd being that tall I dont have any deserted roads that are a safe idea to record into 110+ for 4th LOL

I was driving down the expressway while I was recording. I ran into traffic - that’s why you don’t here 4th. To many damn people going slow on expressway.

After reading alot of other posts I guess the hissing noise and depressurizing noise are normal.
