Locksmith still hasn't showed up yet.
Is it true I can somehow pop the Auto ecu,key and ignition back in to see if it will start ?
Just read that somewhere to leave a plug out and it will start.

This is not true. Not without the auto trans harness plugged in as well. You must also jump several circuits to trick ecm into thinking the range sensor is in park/neutral.

All I can say is that you just confirmed that I'd never attempt something of this magnitude. I appreciate the effort, and you sharing the frustrations...always good to read and I give you props for the size of your sack.

You must live in a relatively rural area...the city would be out in a day if I did that on my sidewalk!

What makes it difficult is RP started with a CL-P instead of a CL-S.

I'm totally ignorant...so I'm guessing that makes it 10 times harder, huh?!?
Stating the obvious would have been swap auto back in, sell for what you can get and jump on a 6MT for sale?! I'm guessing they're hard as heck to come by?

Richards far too stubborn to turn back now. I don't foresee a white flag appearing in his thread anytime soon.

And yes, the Type S models are much different from the base models. The powertrain mechanics and electronics have similarities but unlike the 3g TL's, the wiring isn't easily modded to accommodate various swaps.

No white flags here.
Frustration, Yes,lots of it.
The locksmith never showed. Today I called around to everyone in my area and they all seam to think it can not be done and wont even attempt to come over because its not what was in the car to begin with.
I guess I'll wait till every wire and every piece of the 6speed car is in my car then deciede if its getting towed to Acura or buying another ecu set or whatever.

Dont know what would be the right way to go about this.
I dont have the vin or key code for the 6 speed stuff but I have the key code for my clp stuff.
Could they program the 6speed ecu to match the clp ignition+key since I know the pin/key code for that?
I dont know.
Would honda be able to do it? There is a honda dealer only 5 miles from me?

Honda can do it. If all else fails, I can loan you my 03 CL-S6 ECU and key.

It shouldn't be that difficult to find a locksmith capable of programming the key. Google "mobile programming" or "auto programmer" and make sure you include your city/state in there as well. Craigslist is another good place to find a mobile programmer. Lastly, try and keep your details/explanation of whats simple as most programmers don't like to mess with swaps or projects due to issues commonly interfering with their ability to do their work. I speak from experience and deal with a few regularly.

The car is finally running with help from a TVrepair man switching imoblizers from my auto eecu and a lead from another member to do so.

No limp mode.
I think my pos 90mm tb is leaking vac.
I can't get the rpms under 900 at idle.

I'm working a lot lately but this weekend I'llbe on it.

That TB seems like more trouble than it is worth. Is a 76 MM b series TB not big enough? Would think exhaust is probably the restriction.

I had a p2r disc and it was a nightmare. Reverted back to stock clutch shortly after. But you probably need something beefier than stock if you still plan to spray

I would think the self adjusting PP is the weak link.

Today I did a little beating on the car since the swap.
At one point I tried to do a stationary burnout without dumping the clutch.
I pulled the ebrake and let the clutch out semi aggressively I guess ,at about 4k. Smoke was pouring car did not stay put.
As I was watching the smoke pouring I forgot to let the ebrake off and dragged the rear tires atleast 150ft and half spun the car. As soon as I noticed it was wanting to spin I got on the brakes and ended up 10ft from a pole with my bumper.
whoopsie, Either way it was fun.
apparently not use to the whole ebrake thing yet.
