Finally I found one

Well its time to sell my 99 tl. Tomorrow I am buying a 2003 CL 6-speed with 98,000 miles for $7,000. The car is white, black interior, nav, bone stock, and looks perfect. I know they're quick but do they have potential with bolt on's to run in the 13's? Let me know what you guys think about that car if its worth it.

CT headers gave a nice little bump as I recall. THey were pricey, try and find a nice set of used ones. You could always get the SC but that is not cheap, but again you could look for a used one. CAI and exhaust will give the car a nice sound, other than that just enjoy the car for what it is.

Probably could've paid even a little less considering the 105k service is coming up. i bought my 03 cls6 in early sept with 68k miles for 10. SSM with navi.

Sounds like a nice little upgrade and a good buy. As someone stated above, make sure you get your 105K done if you want to continue to enjoy it.

That's a rare bird you've got there. Can't believe you paid only 7k for it. Excellent deal! It's also a keeper as long as you take care of it.

It will, of course, go much faster with a Comptech SC as noted above, but that's not cheap, also as noted above.

13.9 is possible with an intake. some members have gotten even lower with a proper launch and tires.

I just picked it up this morning, paid $6,900................the car has no knicks, scratches, nothing. It honestly looks like a new car, I couldnt believe the condition that its in, and the inside just as nice. It was owned by two gay guys so you could imagine the shape its in. I had to clean some stains off the seats (jk). So are you ready for this?...........When he sent me picks of the engine bay I though I noticed headers on it and so I asked him if he had headers on the car and he said that the only upgrade he did was put an air filter in. So when I went and looked at the car I opened up the hood and there staring at me in the face were COMPTECH HEADERS, COMPTECH AIRBOX, and COMPTECH MUFFLERS. This guy bought the car when it had 34k on it not nowing this whole time that he had all this shit done to it. Let me repeat myself again, I bought an 03 CL-S 6-speed with 98k in showroom condition, with COMPTECH headers, airbox, mufflers, Navigation, 10k xenon HID lights, and Brand new tires for $6,900. This guy thought this whole time his car was stock. I could see that he didnt really know much about cars because the car is still pretty damn quiet, because his cat is stock and he still has the mid-muffler, so it really kind of sounds a little quieter than a stock g35. So now I gotta sell my 99 TL. Check it out on craigslist in florida under Tampa Bay its the one thats posted: 1999 clean acura tl............Its green in color $4,900.

and i chuckled at the stains on the seat thing you said lol

I love the CL-S in white!

And yes, you gotta swap out the 10Ks with 5Ks or 6Ks now!

was that yours? i cant remember the person who was selling it on here, so probably was you...you're one hell of a driver, i rememebr you did a shitload of miles on your original clutch.

damn OP, i hate you!!

with headers, icebox, and mufflers...you should be making about 240-245HP at the wheels! nice buy!

i'm about to hit 100,000miles on my CL-P, so if you treat her good, she'll treat you good as well; this i know.

Yup, that was me. Did approx 150K+ on the original clutch. I regret getting rid of that car now, but I wanted the money at the time. Oh well.

Man, I drove three hours OUT of Tampa to find my White CL-S 6MT w/ tan int. and no navi (down in Ft. Myers). But it only had 60k miles, so I guess I can't be too mad. Paid 12k for mine from an Acura dealer w/ a 2 yr. bumper-to-bumper Acura warranty. But I am jealous! Nice to see another one in the Tampa area!

Damnit man The only 6MT around here was at a dealer, like 2 months after I bought my 5AT. Thing is that the car was like $2k under it's normal value (had less miles than mine, too), and was painted this weird cobalt or like a periwinkle color (:ghey:?)

So needless to say I'm jealous.
