Finally got my last piece to the puzzle...

I got my CL-S a month and a half ago and since than I've bought a few things.

I waited to get everything together before I get it installed.

Today I got the last thing I was waiting for. I had the springs and shocks for weeks, got the Icebox from the c-c-c comptech groupsale earlier this week, and finally the AW headers arrived. I'm getting everything installed next saturday.

The member Akuratek is an Acura mechanic and he said he'll install everything you see for $400. Hopefully I'll feel a difference in power.

Nice. Now that’s the way to upgrade.

I did it the same way as you and believe me you'll be feeling quite an improvement in handling and power. Congrats.

You're going to LOVE it. I guarantee it.

The only thing you're missing, though, is sway bars. They are a must. They help so much in handling; it's awesome.

which part of IL ?

which part of IL are you ? and this member "Akuratek" - where is he at ? I am doing the same thing with you "ordering couple parts" and wait till all of them gets here and install them. I am in Madison, WI and thinking ask Garage Kwai - Arlington Heights or KIngs MotorSport at Sulivan , WI to do the install. Do you have any idea of the installation cost from them, or I can ask Akuratek to do mine also ?
thanks

$400 to install cai/headers/springs, thats not a bad price, most place wanted close to $400 for the springs alone.

Chicago suburbs. Arlington Heights is probably 20 minutes away, if even that, from where he works. You can ask him, but he's a very busy man. I don't know if those are set prices or if he does it differently for everyone, but you can ask him. Plus, you'll be assured that it's someone who knows what he's doing. He says his dealership is very mod friendly.

Yeah, I know I'm lucky At first I asked him about the springs and shocks, he said $150. Then I bought the icebox, and he said $200 and then I added headers and he'll do it all for $400 and he's gonna have it done in 4-5 hours on a saturday morning which is PERFECT.

AW stands for Alpha Werks. They're not very popular around here, but a few members have bought them and seem to have had good luck with them. I think they sell for about the same as OBX/Stone headers.
