Final verdict on denso iridium plugs....

Sorry to disappoint you since this post is actaully a question. Just wondering whoever's got them, can you let us know what gains you get and is it worth it?

I did a search and much like many questions asked on this forum, people prespond with stupid shit and dance around the topic and it never gets answered. Then, people are told to do a search on topics that turn into the Offest on their wheels.

the only think i don't like about them is they only last 60k miles and they cost a lot more than anything else.

i dont' know if the gains (if anyone has had any) are worth the price.

If you look around, there is a graph of the plugs buried around here, and the "gains" vs a NEW Bosch platinum plug were minimal. BNut showed a graph of one of the cars with gains, but it was a dyno of a NEW Iridium vs. his old plug.

Your results may vary if you have low miles. If you run the car hard, and the tips of the current plugs are rounded-off, then try the Iridiums.

IMO Denso's aren't worth the price. I'm running nitrous though, so I'm just sticking with regular NGK race coppers or Zex coppers.

i saw an ad somewhere advertising that they only last 60k miles, but i checked their site's faq at http://www.iridiumpower.com/faq.asp

and that states that they recommened replacement after 30k.
