Don't know about the INSPIRE, plus it looks a little crooked; but to each his own.

I like your HUs, looks nice, I'm looking into a good headunit to replace the crappy Bose unit.

Don't you have to add 2 more doors to call it an Inspire??? Honda Inspire = 4 door Honda Accord.

It kills me when somebody carves up a perfectly good dash just to put in an aftermarket radio....Damn. I would ask for my money back on that install.

having basically all-audio in my car-i have no clue what kinda amps/subs those are-never heard of them. decent choice on the speakers, even tho i personally think they're over-rated b/c they stopped producing them with silk tweeters

and you have what stereo in your dash?

You know what, fuck it, if you guys are here to critize then I'm not posting any more of my upcoming mods and custom work. Forget all the DIY writeups I was gonna post, cuz shit people like you don't deserve it. You guys can say all the shit you want about how i scratched up my dash, because if you knew anything, that isn't my factory dash piece. And you guys can figure out urself how to do window modules, and the impossible sunroof module and the motorized trunk open and close.

the bondo will give your car what its missing, class.

on and btw titanium tweets can be kinda harsh on the ears...

look around here a while and learn something

If you've ever heard mb's if you know how to tune them properly they are not super tinny at all. The head unit was only done because I was away on vacation and left my car at my shop, it was done complimentary by my installers.

I would personally not use bondo, theres a plastic substance you can use in place of it and mold it and it will harden and will not crack, because bondo is very fragile to pressure, and using bondo to mold on with an existing modified single din mounting kit was not a good idea. I am the shop foreman for our store.

Look, I'm not tryin to give you shit here.... it's your car, you love it like the rest of us do our own, so do what you want.

But that shit is so scratched up, I thought I was lookin at an '89 Prelude when I saw your HU set up. I don't care if it was free for the install, heads would roll if anyone ever installed anything in my CL with that kind of quality. And to use bondo as a solution is an insult to the car IMO. Get a new kit for that install, because that looks One thing that CL owners are about, especially the people on this board, is maintaining class - which is probably why you catch so much shit for the "mods" you've posted.

And how the hell do you get sponsorships with a "CL Inspire"?? If the quality of your HU set up and your plans to fix it are any indication of how you take care of your car, then these sponsors have pretty low standards. Hell, anyone could get a sponsorship if you can. Hook me up, I don't have a whole lot of mods yet, but if you can get one, then I certainly can.

As far as the Inspire thing goes.... it makes me think of that tag line "Always imitated, but never duplicated". All you're doing is imitating another car. To mod is to make your car unique to you, not to blatantly imitate something that the CL is not. From my POV (and I think I speak for most the people on here), the CL is a damn great car, and I love it, and to imitate another in the way that you have is to admit that you want your car to be something else. It's the equivalent of calling the CL inferior to the Inspire. And I, for one, disagree.

The Hard Drive Retails for $1899 CDN <- holy crap thats a rip! Id rather get a indash dvd,mp3,vcd Pioneer for that much money. And burn DVD's with Mp3s then pay that much money just IMO. Anyhow its better than my stock head unit good job!

I wasn't going to say anything on this lame ass thread till I seen this. My man, the point of coming in here is to make your ride better, and you have to learn how to handle different opinions, not everyone thinks like you. Getting different opinions will help you in improving your CL in looking its best.
BTW before you post again, which you will, blow some if that dust off, wipe with your shirt, or even a Dunkin Doughnut napkin will help...
