favorite motor oil to use...

I was just curious what type of motor oil everyone prefers to use... Getting ready to change my oil for the first time since I bought my CL and need some advice from the pros. Thanks!

i use redline oil its the best but the most $$$, royal purple is good and cheaper then redline, the cheapest oil i would personally use is mobil 1 and the nice thing is that you can get it anywhere, i actually order redline off line, no one around here has it.

Amsoil is another good choice, but I think it's difficult to get.

yep, you can't search on 3 character words...

You can get around this by using one of the oil brands (like mobil) to search.

I'm running mobil 5/20, or aleast that's what the slip from the quicky lube place says

I got lazy this past time, and just had them do it for 20 bucks...

Why do other always ask what weight and viscocity other people use? I just think it is such a "no-right-answer" question...

Weight and viscocity are determined by the environment that you live in... cold, hot, etc.

i don't ever use 5w20 in anything thats just for fuel economy i would rather waste 2mpg and know my engine is good, i use 10W30 in the summer and 5W30 in the winter for easier starting.

same here, Mobil 1 5w 30 with mobil oil filter since I bought the car. I always run it for 6,000 miles between each oil change.
