it works, try to get some in the door panels if you can, that will help keep the cabin quieter

Get the stuff nice and warm before you put it on. The warmer it gets, the better it will stick. Post pics when you're done.

I tried the regular Dynamat before, but had trouble getting it to stick on good- even with a heat gun.

DO NOT heat it up before applying it, that will be a mess. Make sure you clean the area you are matting extremely well. Rubbing alcolhol is cheap and works well. When I bought my 100 sq ft of FatMat they included a package of stuff that you mix with water that cleans the surface. Also get a very decent razor knife, you'll need it.

And I also suggest doing the inner door panels. They helped mine close with a nice thud, rather than a clank like they did originally.

So fatmat works?

It's half the price of dynamat for a 36-footer.

Is that enough to cover the trunk of a TL, by the way??

I havent used brown bread, but the online reviews said it compared pretty well to all the brands, and its much less expensive than Dynamat. Even if it didnt work as well as Dynamat, you could do 2 layers of it and still be less than the cost of one layer of Dynamat and I'm sure it would kill more sound.

so can I use it to make the cabin less noisy? I can't stand the rattles and squeaks after hitting a bump. I have no intetions of upgrading my system, but I was wondering if there are any areas that should be focused on in order to reduce noise rather than enhance my stereo. any help?

Brown Bread is equivalent to dynamat extreme but for a cheaper price. Brown bread is extremely easy to put on.. it just sticks.. make sure you are planning to leave it there permanently or else youll be having a hell of a time removing it.

I have buddies that work at 4 different shops in Dallas/Houston and they use Dynamat Extreme exclusivly....and not because dynamat pays them. Extreme kicks the hell outta brown bead from what I hear.

After doing hours of research, I chose Dynamat over all of its competitors.

No smell, easy to install, good service, and excellent quality. I think it's worth the money. I bought some off Ebay yesterday. I'm excited.
