Fatmat??

I was searching for some dynamat on Ebay, and ran across Fatmat.

Are these any good? It's much cheaper than Dynamat. I was just curious if they were up to the same performance level.

yea on my thread, you asked the same thing, from what ive heard its just as good as dynmant xtreme and is cheaper, im gettin with 4 days ill tell you how it turns out

I heard that fatmat and Brown Bread smell like tar (because that's what they use). But dynamat doesn't.

That's reason good enough for me to spend the extra money to get the dynamat.

In fact, I just bought an Xtreme bulk pack for 113.90 shipped on Ebay. I'm excited.

The Fatmat does have an odor to it, but after a week or two in went away. Here's some pics of my install:
