Fastest Way to get Rotoras?
Fastest Way to get Rotoras?
I need the front pair for my CL by this weekend, my car is vibrating like crazy and its driving me nuts. I had them resurfaced about 8k miles ago and the warp is back tenfold.
I know streetbeat customs sells them and juniorbean no longer has them, is there anywhere else that can rush deliver?
thanks

Fastest way to get Rotoras: :thief:
Did you get them resurfaced at the dealership? I had mine done at the dealership and even though I was beyond the 50k mile warranty I still fell under the 12k mile warranty they place on all their repairs. So I got new rotors and pads for free. Try www.brakeworld.com too.

Your reciept should say something about a warranty. All the dealers I have been to say they warranty their work for 12 months/12k miles.
There is a TSB out for them. They know the rotors warp. I wouldn't call a failure after 8k miles a "wear and tear" fix. When the rotors were resurfaced the last time, did they replace the pads? If they did not they did not follow the TSB instructions correctly. Warped rotors cause uneven pad wear. Uneven pads on newly resurfaced rotors will lead to warped rotors again. The new pads are also less metalic than the ones that came from the factory.
I used to burn through rotors every 10k miles. Finally on my 3rd or 4th attempt I had them replace the rotors and pads (they didn't the first few times). I now have over 15k miles on the new set up with no problems at all.

wow awesome. i am going to go home now and check the receipt.
They said they resurfaced and put new pads on last time.
Could be BS about the new pads...
Thanks again! You might have just saved me some $$
