Fastest car I've ever drove was a 1979 Mustang, it had a 1993 body on it and had a tricked out 5.0. He said it had around 400hp to the wheels, I was only 17 so I didn't know too much about cars, but when I drove it, I was in 3rd gear and floored it, it spun the tires and threw my ass back!

The fastest cars I've ever driven would be my 2001 CLS in which I traded in for my new 2003 CLS-6sp.

I've ridden in a 1972 Porsche 911s target at 130 without the top and recently a Ferrari 308. And then there was the jacked up Challenger that was faster than snot in a staight line ... many years ago.

 

damn, was hoping to see if anyone had a chance to drive/ride in a mclaren f1. now that's a fast car! atleast that's what i hear from time to time.

 

I got to drive a Ferarri F-40 on my 18th birthday. For those that live in Chicago...the owner of John's Garage...John...let me drive it as a birthday present!!!! I only got up to about 120mph...that thing was SCARY FAST!!

My grandmother's neighbor Dodge Charger in Doswell-VA. Was very scary. Just starting it up sounded like about 10 mustangs side by side. Rollcage, gutted interior with nitrous. Not street legal, used to tow it around in his silverado. Took it on a country road out by Kings Dominion (straight road with no lights for about 20 miles. He let me drive and followed me in the truck. Still had drag radials on. I just floored the bitch. He had the gear shifter like vin diesels in F&F. I never got the front-end up over a foot (too scared). Did i mention his car scared the $hit out of me? About two miles i pulled over hopped out the window, and we exchanged cars. I couldn't take it anymore.

 

427 AC Cobra... 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds - belonged to a Hawaiian friend
close second was 1968 Ferrari 328 Mexico - 0 to 100 and back to zero in less than 10 seconds - a real rush!

 

Fastest for top-speed was my Civic Coupe with a GS-R motor.. 181mph
Quickest car was my Civic Hatch @ Bakersfield... 11.96 @ 111

Fastest I have BEEN in a car... was a S/C - NOS - E36 M3... 206mph

 

The fastest car I've driven was a '94 Supra Turbo 6-speed BPU + with around 400-420 at the wheels. Runs low 12's!! Just seeing the speedo fly was an amazing sight to look at. For the guy who said the Supra was redline limited at 165; that's not possible!! You can easily hit 180+ with the factory transmission. Theoretically the gears are limited to (at redline of course) to something like 197 mph.

Yeah, one of my tenant's has a Grand National. Those things can be freakin' fast. But I haven't had a chance to ride in it yet. He said he knows guys with 9sec GNs. Pretty good for such an ugly 80's domestic.

The fastest car I've driven was only an 02 Cobra. Compared to most on this list, it's not much...but I thought it was a blast.
