Failed state inspection due to road lamps

Brought the buggy to Baierl Acura in Wexford for 30K service and state inspection. They called me up and said they wouldn't pass me 'cause of my PIAA 169's in the road lamps. Never had a problem before with them.
Well, at least they swapped them out for me for free (which I figured they owed me anyway since they burned out after like 10 minutes).
Also ordered new seatbacks for me since mine seem to have warped and don't fit tightly. I thought it was the clips, but they are on securely, just with a big gap.

That's such BS. I mean they aren't even bright. They are only a 5 watt bulb which you can barely see when you have your headlights on anyway. I've had them for 3 years without a problem and passed NJ state inspection and they are strict here.

Sorry to hear that...Baierl Acura will never see my car again.. they damaged my car the 1st time I ever went out there.. Acura dealer that was in Monroville is moving out to route 22, which is closer to me and I will use them if I need any warranty work..

P.S. You going to Englishtown on March 29th?

I have to go every year for a safety and emissions inspection in NH.

When I lived in MA, my CL-S failed with about 400 miles on it...it was brand new!! The third brake light (rear deck) didn't work because the spoiler was used in its place. Freakin' jughead at the Mobil followed the letter of the law on my ass. I had to call the state to give him some shit, and then the prick made me sit in line and go through another full inspection when I went back. He was breakin' my balls like a mother f'er!!

The great thing about MA is the "new" enhanced inspection system. It upped the price from $15 to $29 a couple years ago, and it has led to looooonnngggg waits at the end of the month at inspection stations. Of the $15, I think $5went to the state and $10 went to the inspection station. Now, I believe $14 goes to the state and $15 goes to the inspection station. Of course, the newer computer equipment costs like $50,000, so it takes longer for the stations to recoup their investments. The result has been fewer inspection stations, and more headaches for the drivers...I'm so glad I don't live in that stupid state anymore!! Of course, I still work there, and do most of my driving there.

Tell them to go suck it and just go to a local garage. Pure idiocrysy.

Inspections are expensive in PA nowadays. I pay 60 bucks.
