Factory forgot something in my car????

Ok, heres the deal... .those of you who rememebr, there were this debate about my CLP Vs. other CLS in houston.... i ran several guys in Houston with CLS with full mods, and mine as well... and one time, one guy posted, that i raced with him from a roll, pulled on him, from a light, pulled on him... bla bla bla... then turned into a huge debate saying, CLS people cant drive, and CLP sucks, and cant go fast... etc....

when my car was stock, i ran 14.9... with CAI, and Denso, i ran 14.7.... with Pulley, i ran 14.6... and i have yet to run with headers and exhasut, but shold be around 14.4-14.5.... at first, everyone say i have a gifted motor, or others cant drive....

heres the deal... this is VERY strange...

the other day, came back from Louisiana, i stopped at this weight station to weight my car, they let me, so i was like COOL... anyway, i got off the car and look at the scale... i was SHOCKED....

it saids ............ 3,188lbs......

I was like WTF, drove back, and did it again, this time 3,189lbs....

then i drove off.... heading home.... but i was thinking, arent we suppose to weight about 3550 for CLP and maybe 3600lbs for a loaded CLS???

then WTF did the factory didnt put in? did they forgot a beam to go on the car or something? cuz we are talking about 300lbs lighter... its like a CLP in an Accord.....

Can anyone tell me wat happened... i am gonna take my car to the dealer and see is going on.... where did my 300lbs go... i am happy with the wieght, so i can be faster, but WHERE am i missin it.......

Now that explains why my car is a bit faster than others CLP/CLS....

I removed the spare tire, the trunk carpet, tools rear and passenger floor mats. I weighted my CLS with me in it at 3495-3520. I was on Empty fuel light. I weigh 185 lbs. So my CLS is 3310 lbs. now your CLP is 3188 is 122 lbs lighter. I have NAV your don't! so difference is not that great.. it is like 100 lbs.

But I removed stuff from my CLS you did not!... if the difference is 300 lbs... you gain like 0.3s in the 1/4 and you will be even better than a stock CLS!

get a second opinion on the weight. running 14.4 is what most modded type S's are running, thats either pretty damn good or pretty damn weird.

The scale is calibrated to let trucks carry heavier loads....can't you guys see that? It's all a racket...the scale is not accurate, plain and simple.

Ed,
Did you take out the sub box and the amp? Those add extra 70lbs. If you didn't, you are 370lbs short. Maybe the crash protection steel beams are missing in your car

Ok, guys heres the update....

I work for airlines, and i work at hobby airport, and we do have a scale to weight frieght, and those scale are SUPER accurlate.... i drove my car in and weight it again, here are the results...

BTW, these weight are equip with EVERYTHING in the car, full interior, nothing taken out, INCLUDING a 2 12" sub, which weight alot.... i weight the car 4 times..... BTW, i have 4 Yoko ES300, PLUS 4 18" Konig Imagine rims included in those weight...

#1... a person, me, 147.72lbs...
#2... CL try 1, 3,187.71lbs
#2... CL try 2, 3,187.75lbs
#3... CL try 3, 3,187.72lbs
#4... CL try 4, 3,187.71lbs

now, all the people who all witness me have NO clue how come my car is light weighted... i am taking the car to Acura, and find out what is going on...

BTW, we weighted several other cars, seems like theirs are correct as well, other co-workers car...

#1... 03 Jag S-Type 4.2, stock, 3,879.05lbs
#2... 03 Maxima 3.5GLE, with 18" 3,303.24lbs
#3... 01 Accord LXV6 Cpu, stock, 3,240.80lbs

so try different scale, this one is super accurate that i am using, we use them to weight cargo from one bag to one truck load, it MUST be accurate, and we have it calibrate every month, cuz we cannot have errors, since all our flights have weight restriction... if it has a big margin mistake, it will bring a plane down due to inbalance take off weight ratio, and its a FAA thing, so i trust the scale 100%.....

the main point is, WTF! whats missin in my car!!!

Make sure it's another 2001 CLP. The 2001s don't have the damper on the front bumper. (It doesn't weigh much bet there may be some other parts that the '01s don't have.)
