F this car. No, really...

Who wants a PDG CL-S w/~25K miles and a GREMLIN electrical problem (SAME PROBLEM that it has ALREADY been in once for) that Acura nor the dealership has any FUCKING CLUE what to do about? Huh, huh? C'mon, nobody?

Pray to your gods that you don't catch this bug. My car's been in the shop for three days now, one to scratch heads and two after the problem was realized and data sent to Acura for analysis. Today Acura says they now need data from an older version of the diagnosis program instead of the one that originally captured data on Wednesday morning. So what, you say? Well, this would require my car staying at the dealership day after day until they could replicate the problem (who knows when the fuck that would happen) while I continue to drive around in this PATHETIC, PIECE OF SHIT, INTEGRA LS loaner!

I've treated this bitch so well. I've waxed her EVERY 30 days, paid FULL PRICE for all of her check-ups, used Mobil 1 from the first oil change, 93 octane only, replaced her scrathed rims, treated her leather, parked on the OUTSKIRTS OF HELL to avoid door dings and she turns around and FUCKS ME LIKE THIS!

Enjoy your cars, I FUCKING HATE MINE!!! In all honesty, I'm much sadder than I am mad because I really love her.

Just take it easy and relax. It's only a car and no car is perfect. I hope everything works out for you.

Time for a tall cold one (or a tall hot one, as in red head)?

Hehe! Not to laugh at you man, but that was a major about-face in emotions there. We all love our cars, and I know it pains me to have mine in the shop (not yet! Knock on fake wood-trim). She'll pull through man!

Wow! We are so critical of our cars. BMW'S have lots of electrical problems and we won't even begin on Audi. Know that electrical gremlin problems can be a headache! Hang in there! Goodluck!

It would be a lot funnier if I hadn't already had three unscheduled visits this year alone, and a total of five in 14 months.

I'm just venting...

Upgrade the loaner to a NSX and tell them to take their time. I bet they would find the problem ASAP.

Quite possibly. I know of someone who returned a 1999 Accord Coupe for an unsolvable electrical problem. Investigate your state lemon laws. I know they apply to drive trains, not always sure about electrical issues.

While our Acuras are among the best built cars on the road, glitches are bound to happen. ESPECIALLY electrical glitches, considering the number of gee-wiz-gizmos in cars these days. My friends and relatives with BMW's and Mercedes have more electrical problems than you can imagine. Good luck!

your best bet is to have it stolen and get a new one with the insurance money.

When I took my cl-s to the dealer, they gave me a Cl-p and when my girlfriend takes her infiniti j30 they give her an equal or better car everytime. It just all depends on the dealer and whether they like you or not.

Look on the bright side... this is your one lemon that almost everyone gets. The next car probably won't be so bad. Oh wait... you were gonna get an S4... nevermind! :p

But seriously, chances are your next car won't be a lemon if you buy a reasonably reliable brand (and I would include all the german manufacturers in that group).

Here is a story for you......

When I was 21 I bought a BRAND NEW 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby-Z Turbo.
It was all shiny & RED with T-Tops, wing, leather, CD Player & upgrade wheels.

On the way home about 5-miles from the dealership the fuel pump went dead.
I had to push the car off the road and find a pay phone.
They came out and towed me back.

Now the most humiliating part:
After "bragging it up" the day before about the NEW car that I was buying, I had to drive to work the next 2-days in a 4-Door Aries K-CAR loaner!!!!!

How do you think I felt ????

On a happier note, after that incident I drove over 90,000 trouble free miles with that car before I traded it in on my 91 Legend Coupe.

You know what's funny, My car's been through the following :

Full front end collision.

Another fender bender (not my fault)

Broken AEM CAI (cannot figure this one out)

Race it HARD atleast 2 times aweek at the local races,

New Toyo Tires, and constant driving it hard.

And my car is working PERFECTLY (Besides the CAI problem which I will custom craft a more flexable braket.
