exxon better than ammaco?

for the first since I bought my car, I filled the tank with Exxon premium gas rather than premium Ammaco... boy, all the sudden the gas pedal seemed so sensitive, my car jumped like a bunny everytime I lightly depress the pedal...

boy, does Exxon have better gas or some? well, it was one cent more expensive than that of the Ammaco station I ususally go to.

don't know about ammaco 'cuz the exxon/mobile stations i've seen are a lot nicer (ie pay at pump, bigger, and overall cleaner) than the ammaco's i've seen, but then again i haven't been driving my car for 2 months.

i know for sure though that the discount gas stations (redners, sheetz, etc) use crap for gas, and use a mixture of crap and more crap for premium and you can really tell a difference...i tried redners once 'cuz it was the most convenient, never agian.

gas is getting expensive, but it's not THAT expensive...but then again, i drive my car maybe 4 months out of the year.

I'm sure I missed it, but WHY don't you drive your car? Wish you'd tell me how you do that because I have 4,100 miles on mine in 2 months. I NEVER drove that much in such a short time until I got this car!

Me too -- I used to go to the Mobil on the corner, until Mobil and Exxon became one.

I think I'll go out and run down some baby seals with some Exxon in my tank as a "memorial" to the infamous Exxon Valdez captain.

I guess double hulls just cost too darn much -- huh?

Chevron rules.....Techron is their patented exclusive additive for removing varnish and even the OEM's recomment this chemical and sell it private label as an induction system cleaner...lots of it in the premium unleaded. No, I don't have stock!!!!!

Did you know, that the American car manufacturers actually use Chevron for their EPA testing. They get tanker trucks to deliver the stuff!

(Ripped from the Chevron site -- if someone disagrees with the above statement, send 'em an e-mail)

BTW -- I use Shell, but stop by Chevron for a Techron concentrate fix from time-to-time.
