I purchased my Silver 2001 CL-S w/Navi from an independent dealer in Tampa, FL and that was just the beginning of the nightmare. It took almost 5 months to get the title from them and I thought they never would pay off the previous lien. Thank goodness for the E-Bay auto auction insurance. During this period my mileage went over the limit for the AcuraCare extended warranty. Are there any other extended warranty companies that may be worth the money?

What is the mileage on the car now? I know there are a couple other places out there, but the one from Acura is the only one I'll trust. Remember that you have til 56K to sign up for it, not 50K.

And take it for what it's worth, but they don't ask to see your car, or it's current mileage when you register.

 

It has 54,500 now. It is a 2001 model, but I may be out of luck anyway because I think the inservice date was October of 2000. Can you recommend any particular dealer. I saw Curry Acura online offering one, but I was out by their standards because they said 50K was the limit and it is too old by the service date.
