Extended Car Warranty

I have about 2k until my 50k warranty expires, the dealer offered me 100k/3year for $1200 should I take it ?

How about after market warranty any good ?

BTW, by 3 years I will hit 100k, but maybe I should get 5 years 100k I dont know the price for that.

for some reason the search is not working for me

Thanks

Your tranny is covered until 100,000 already. There are no other known problems (except brakes which are a wearable item after 50,000 or less). Could you realistically expect to have $1,200.00 worth of failures on the other equipment in the next 50,000 miles? I wouldn't. YMMV

The warranty doesnt cover the leather, soft trim ( Chrome, Seals, Moldings ) doesnt cover the broken seat back, doesn't cover the mirrors breaking.

I've yet to get them to cover anything with this warranty. Its a waste of money unless you expect the Engine/Drivetrain to go

Also you have to get the warranty at 49,000k if your too close to 50k they will include a surcharge.

$1250 from one dealer for me, and $1300 from another. for 100k

I just ordered the extended warranty from acurawarrantys.com - they charged me $1025 for the 5yr/100k warranty. It was real easy and I received an email as soon as the processed my order telling me it was done and 2 days later I received a copy of the contract in the mail. It is the exact same warranty you'd get from the dealer.

It is.

I checked with my dealer and this is the only outside company authorized to sell the genuine Acura Care warranty.
That’s where I’m gonna buy mine.
