Which exhaust tips to get?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33633

I think they'd stick out like 3-4 inches too far...I love the look of these tips. I don't want a fucking exhaust, I just want pretty tips

Hmm.... those suckers are 10inches wide!

If you want new tips, look into the magnaflow tips, high quality and good prices.

ok how about these:

The only thing I'm worried about is the Length being 7.5" ... I think that's too long, I don't know. All I know is that I want to get tips that have a thick, rolled edge, and are oval shaped, not round. And whats the diff from aluminized steel and stainless steel? Does anybody else have any other places that sells great quality tips?

I too heard Ansa tips rust. Stainless steel does not rust or discolor, aluminized steel is usually softer, etc. I don't know the measurements of the length of the stock tips (I had a while ago), maybe you should let us know, would be great for reference.

just go to your local autozone or pep boys and get some pilot tips. I had them on my TL for like 3 years and they never rusted. Cost about 50 bucs for both.

Ansa makes stainless steel tips!!! I had a set of ansa mufflers on my CL-S previously but sold them for the Comptechs. The ansa's were awesome and looked mint but were slightly too loud for me. I sold them to another member here. If u do a search on here for ansa mufflers u should be able to find some info and pics..

I definitely don't want 3A...those are the round ones that the TL guys put on...I want oval. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and just get the magnaflow ones...The ansa's look cool, but now I've got mixed reviews. And btw, I don't want a muffler...thanks though Ant, I appreciate it. Im'a think this one out another day or 2

yeah dude... rain = traffic + accidents took me an hour and a half to drive 30 miles on the freeway today

anyway, i bought them for just 8 bucks each! no welding needed, simply remove the stock ones (better hope your bolt didnt rust else its going to be pain), insert the new ones, + 1 or 2 screws. can i say 16 bucks and 10 mins well spent?

lol...i feel ya

Is this the tip?

however, the cl tips are welded on, not bolt on...btw, check these out:

These are all made by Ractive

these are the same, but like black chrome...I wonder if that would look hot w/ black chrome emblems on a SSM?

interesting, but I don't think it's for our car

all the ones I've ever wanted (the amg ones), everyone kinda hated on me for that...plus they don't exactly weld up properly, or fit. I've had NO idea where to even find any tips either. I know, I'm being a douchebag, but the tips are important to me Since I'm not wasting my money on exhaust, I want to make sure I pick the best one that I can.

Anybody got ideas on dual tips?? I know Ant has answered questions about the Anza tips, but I've asked around and people straight up say there isnt tips for our car.
Anybody got suggestions to look for dual tips?? Even a good place to get the tips done??

I believe out inlet diameter is 2.25, don't quote me though. Those black chrome tips look nice.

that's what I thought as well...

so does that mean I cannot get a tip that has a 2.5" inlet?
