Get in the zone at Autozone and pick up rubber doughnuts in the exhaust hanger section. They are about 1.5 inches in diameter, maybe 2. And the ring is about 5/8 inch thick. Put them behind the OEM hangers. Take off the OEM hangers, put on the rings just like the OEM rubber over the hangers, then put the OEM hangers back on. This is also the fix for the infamous sagging passenger muffler. I bought my rings from Autozone. Part number17205, Exhaust Insulator. There is a thread about this somewhere. Jim

You need one for each hanger. There are two hangers on each muffler

A few zip ties worked fine for me. This is how I got my CT setup to be even & a little higher. It also stopped the swaying on bumps.

another fix was to use hose clamp rapped around the rubber hangar.

im looking for a fix for the sagging muffler, so i think im going to pick up a rubber ring. so im looking for 1.5-2 inch diameter ring? also i think i need to hold the weight of the muffler up while i remove and install the hangers with a piece of wood wrapped in cloth put on a floor jack. i got this idea from a fellow poster. will i have to be worried about the pipes behind the muffler bending?
