will 3g tl exhaust even come close to bolting up to a 2g cl-s? i see them from time to time at work and they look so similar but ive never found an answer.

 

You will definitely have to shorten it, but you could probably get it to fit.

 

may not have to shorten it as the CL is longer than the TL by about 1.5 for 2nd gen. I do not know the size of the TL for 3rd gen but I thought they were slightly longer...

Is there a problem with your exhaust? There is really no point in changing out anything after the j-pipe as you will only get 1-2 hp at most...

There is a point. It is called sound, weight, and looks. Power isn't everything.

I personally don't see the point trying to fit a 3rd gen exhaust when you can go custom. After trying the fit parts from other cars and doing some custom parts I realized trying to fit other car parts was a waste of effort, time, and money. Custom is where it is at.
