New to the forum and love it. I now have my 2nd CLS. The 1st was a sad loss. Just had to get another.
I'm looking to put exhaust on my 03 CLS 6mt. Either full exhaust w/ headers or just cat back. Any suggestions and what kind of power gains am i looking at with possibly a CAI as well?? Thanks for the help.

An aftermarket exhaust wont give you much of a gain in power. The stock one's are pretty efficient.

Headers on the other hand are begging to be put on. Alot of people on the board have been going with the XS power headers on ebay because of thier low cost and effectiveness.

you can get the comptech cat-back, its close to $1000 i think...i had hks super dragger axle-back on my cl-s which ran me $500...also i had xs power headers like superfob said above, the price is great ($150) and the power is definitly great. as for an intake, i had aem, sounded and felt good. with those 3 things you should go from 260crank to 290-300crank hp...somewhere around 240whp

I'm new to this forum, but not to forums in general. I don't drive an acura, but I have a friend who does. He has an '03 CL-S. I know the header voids the warranty on my car (SVT Focus), but does the same hold true on the Acura 3.2 if one were to buy aheader for it?

I think some of the others may have overlooked the fact that he has a 6 speed. I'm almost positive that Comptech's are the only headers that work with a 6mt. Personally, I have Comptech's Icebox (intake), headers, and exhaust and love all three. The sound of the exhaust is quite nice and the headers and intake make a noticable difference throught the powerband.
