Evolution Autodesign Door Sills

I just checked their site and the CL and CL-S door sills are $85 whereas the TL-S are $100 right now. I've got no idea if they dropped the price or not. I just figured I'd let people know about this, so I'm sorry if that's what the price always is . Another reason why I brought this up is because they mention that they can have them in chrome as well. Does anybody have a picture of these door sills in chrome?

Do you guys think its worth the $85 to get these?

Yeah my old ones bent up and I tossed them. I'd like some replacements.

Definitely worth the price of admission. Had mine on for over a year now and they're great.

Took me 3 months to get mine.... a group buy would take 3 years. Mine are bent too (arrived that way and after 3 months I said f*ck it and kept them)... depending on the price I might check it out.

I bought mine in the last group buy and received them two weeks after the buy ended. Mine are still in mint condition

That's why I never bought them... too many horror stories about them (although it appears some people had no problems). Figured with the hit and miss problems they'd have.. my luck, I'd have a problem... so I just didn't do it. Don't get me wrong.. I wouldn't mind the wait.. but mine would probably come bent and from what I've read their customer service sucks....

It's hit and miss. Took me months to get mine and many emails. They finally said it was lost in shipping and sent 'another' set out.
I emailed them recently about their alum dash kit and never heard back. Customer service is not consistent with this company.
My sills were $60. They are way overpriced but look ok. Done on rough edged, thin aluminum. Have to be installed correctly or will come loose or get bent up easily.
I dremeled the 2 ridges flat on the stock plastic sill, dremeled the rough aluminum sill edges smooth too, and superglued it to the plastic sill. Hardest part was removing the 12-15 thick foam adhesive strips they had applied to the back of the aluminum sill. This makes it sit up not flush if you leave the adhesive foam on. If you don't do this it will not sit flush and the rough edges will catch on shoes etc.
They look good, but I think they are way overpriced for the quality. IMO.
Mine sit very flush now with all smooth edges. No problems.

hey guys, i talked to the guy a month back and the reason for the crapping cust. service is cause they were in the process of moving to another location. supposedly they are all set up and they hired someone specifically for customer service so give them a call. they also had delayed shipping time during the move, but should be good now. give them a call.

http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showt...370#post788370

Over on a-tl.com they're having a groupbuy for BOTH CL or TL door sills, and it will be $70 shipped to your door. It is an additional $10 for chrome, but yeah. We have 6, so we need 4 more. Go chek it out!!

What's Up with Evolution Autodesign?

Anyone know? I ordered a door sill for my 2001 CLS in December from them and still have not received it. Every time I call their number, I get the answering machine so I leave a message and no one returns my call.

Are they still in business?
