Everyone please read - Show your colors
Lets give this website some colors and show we’re proud of the USA.
In memory of all the people that died on September 11, 2001 lets all temporarily change our Avatars to something that shows some American SPIRIT.
Right-Click any of the following GIF’s and copy the link into your profile.
I have them hosted on my Website and they’re all within the 96 pixels wide limit.
Lets leave these up for at least a week.
Thanks,
Shawn S
PS….If the MODS agree, please give me a “sticky”.

What, blow up a building and we get a new holiday? What are we celebrating, 2,000 people dying? A successful sneak attack on the USA, the likes of which haven't been seen in 61 years?
And the crap they play on TV - I would have never expected to see this much propaganda outside of Cold War Russia.
So anyway, yeah, I just felt like saying "gay", since saying it to the TV as I change the channel doesn't have the same effect as being able to actually voice my opinion on the subject in a message forum.
OMG UNPATRIOTIC BRING OUT THE TORCHES AND STAKES!!11
Okay, tell me where was all your patriotism the other 364 days of the numerical year prior to 11 Sept. 2001? Hmmm. Yeah, thought so.

Eh it's all good. I'm sick of all this extreme patriotic crap. All over the TV. Every fucking station. Hell my mom has the day off from work Wednesday. WTF. "Patriot Day."

Everyday of your existence you should be thankful for what you have and where you live. People fought and died to ensure that you would have the opportunity to express unpopular opinions.
Sure, some days life might suck. That's life.
The tragedy is that innocent non-combatants died for some elses hang ups. The fact that people use the tragedy for one minute to feel good about what they have and who they are, well, that should be encouraged. In our busy lives, we all need to "step back" once in a while and think about what we have in the USA and why it is so precious.
I'm not a big fan of the "casual patriot", but that is certainly better in all cases than the shmoe who shows open disdain for the USA for whatever BS reason they can come up with to bitch about.
Anyway, that is what I think on all that.
