Exactly...

I planned on running maybe 4 gauge or lower with a 90 amp fuse from the battery to a distribution block in the trunk. From there I will split off with individual fuses to the amp and the pump with 10 gauge to each. I'll use the original stock power and gropnd to close a relay and for power to the pump. And obviously I try a new and larger ground for the pump.

That should provide more than enough flow path to keep the voltage up.

However, there is still one problem, I can't completely eliminate the stock wiring. I need to get into the tank without loosing a seal so I need to use the stock connector and a short bit of stock wiring.

You can get pretty damn close to killing all of the stock spaghetti .WIth a decent seal you can even run the wiring straight to the pump .

Ya, but since the ECU monitors tank pressure I better make sure I have a good seal.
