eshaust help

Hmm i wanna get exhaust, but this has too be one of the hardest mods for our car too choose from. I know the info on all 3. Just wondering what your guys opinions are between the greddy, hks, and comptech. I like that the greddy is catback, but cans do look a little big. I like the comptech, but it is pricey and the tips seem a little small too me. I like that i can get the b-pipe later thou. The hks i like, just they seem to sag tooo low. Hopefully this would be easy too fix to get them to sit higher. I can get the hks new for 430 the greddy for 675 and comptech for like 575. Any suggestions? Oh and can you fit the comptech b-pipe to the hks? Thanks

I would only thing is i dont have 1100 right now. Im looking at the mufflers and doing the pipe down the road if i get comptech. Oh and anything to cover up my rattles is a plus hehe.

IMO... I'd get headers before I got a exhaust system. From a performance standpoint,if that's what you're looking for, there's no comparison between headers and exhaust. Unless you're just looking for sound.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I've done all I really want to do so far (minus the S/C) and now all I have left is the exhaust. I'm really thinking about going with the full catback setup from Comptech. Like you however the only discouraging factor is the fact that the Comptech exhaust does tend to look small. Especially for a CL where we have those cut outs.

HKS and Greddy are too big for me. I wish Comptech was somewhere in between. In the end I'll probably go with the b-pipe and the Comptech exhaust.

I wanna get headers. I even posted a thread looking for used 6 speed comptechs. Like i said i dont have over a grand to spend or i would get the headers. It is almost impossible to find used on here.

Yea i feel the same. If borla just made a cl exhaust this decision would be easy. I will prob end up with comptech also.

im an owner of the greddy evo. i used to think the tips were too big and ricey, but if you adjust them well, they don't sag too low and look quite nice. the sound is really nice. i dont think you can go wrong with any of em. just a matter of what kinda look your going for.

Keep in mind that 5zigen makes an exhaust too. Direct bolt on. Don't force yourself between those 3 companys. Be different.

Im thinkin of getting just generic mufflers on my car. I had Dynomax on my civic a while back, and like it a lot. I can get bout for about $250. I would like to get the comptech, but its kinda pricey for me.

I used to have magnaflows, but notice the new mufflers are round, whereas, the magnaflows look like the comptechs with a bigger tip.
