Error when scanning...

Hey, i have an 02 CLS and recently my check engine light has come on. So I took it to a shop where I used to work and scanned it myself and it kept giving me "Error" when I scanned the computer. So then I brought it to a local auto zone to have them scan it and the scanner there said the exact same thing. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

Well, the only thing is about 9months ago I have noticed my tranny acting up. Kinda hard to explain exactly but lets say when i am making a right hand turn i obviously let my foot off the gas and when I slow down while making the turn the car downshifts as normal but after i am done making the turn i press the gas again and it feels as if it kind of slams or jerks into gear.

Also, this problem has been on going for about 9months and the light has been on for about 4months.

sounds like a ecm/pcm is faulty. try to unplug your battery basically reset the ecu and rescan it should work.

Call Acura with your VIN #.
Should be 7/105K or something like that.
