I'll give a final number when I combine the checks/cash/paypal and misc donations.

All the parts will be on order by the end of today...

We received a generous amount of RAM and two good-sized Hard Drives from two of our members (name yourselves if you dont wish to remain anon) and those two pieces are saving us alot of money. Therefore we can put the cash into speedy processors... and quality mother board.

Soopa, I'm not sure what you were looking for, but if you check out TechBargains.com, and scroll down (maybe go to the second page) there was a deal on there about a Gateway 6400 server for $500 ($500 off, plus another $100 off with coupon code). The 6400 is a PIII-933 (single CPU upgradeable to 2), 128MB RAM, SCSI 160 (with 9GB HDD), not sure on all the other specs, but it's not bad for $400, it's great for $400, but it would probably require more ram and a few more SCSI 160 drives to run some form of raid which I imagine you're thinking about. I'm not sure how much longer the deal will remain, but check out TechBargains.com to see more info.
