I checked at the local Walmart.. they cary Prestone Anti-Freeze Coolant, Super Flush, Flushing kit, Coolant test kit

Is the Prestone Coolant Compatible with Acura? Should I stick with Honda's?

Any recommendation...

Next Flush, it would be 50% Anti-Freeze, 30% distilled Watter and 20% Redline's Water Wetter..

 

Hey Nashua. I'm going to go with the Honda approved coolant. I haven"t heard of any water pump problems w/our cars, but a few years ago Honda Gold Wings did. The short life of the seals was traced to silicates in the fluid. Motorcycle Consumer News (they accept no advertising dollars) had experts examine different coolants and the microscope found what looked like minute glass crystals. My first coolant purge will include silicate free fluid and water wetter. Siezeya.

 

I will buy the Anti Freeze from the local Honda, in addition to the ATF which is due at 45 kmiles... Couple ATF washer and 1/2 dozen Oil Drain plugs...
