Electrical System Question

Gentlemen -
I have an '02 CL-S and want to add a small sub like a 6 1/2 inch Bazooka tube or an Infinitly Basslink. My question is will it be safe on the electrical system (alternator) to run this? Given the fact that the car already has heated seats, rear defogger, compressor. If they are all operating at the same time and then add a powered sub into the picture is there a risk of having an alternator fire due to the increased electrical demands?

ok i had a 1000 watt amp pushing 3 12's on stock battery and alternator in both my CL and my audi...no problems, just a lil interior light dimming....but you will in now way burn your alternator off something that small...i now have a 600watt 1 channel amp going to a 1000W RMS sub with the gain on the amp all the way and still no problems
