P/A, yes&no, i'm refering to the notations in the comtech install guide which states that after connection of the links to the sways the links should be positioned in the same relationship to the adjacent suspension components then the interior brackets tightened to specs (the effect of this is to balance or center the sways between the left and right side components. if memory serves , the comtech guide specified the link should be adjusted to be parallel on each side. the slotted bolt holes in the ends of the sways help to allow for this adjustment

P/A, now that i'm thinking on it, the slotted holes are provided on the interior connection brackets (brackets which house the plastic bushings) this slotting allows for the final adjustment i noted in the prior post

Went driving hard as fuck today...I do notice a little less body roll and I can take turns harder without squeals...one of my fav turns I get about 10mph faster and I think the conti's soft sidewall is holding me back....the sways are a bit of improvement but not day and night

I know what happened!!!
they probably just painted your stock bars red:P
I installed mine myself, here are some pics so you can compare bars. look at the difference in size![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
rear
front bar is same diameter, but the stock bar is hollow.

"balancing the links"
I never heard of that one.
The CT instructions say nothing of that...

fuzzy02cls, i used the comptech install instructions along w/ the factory manual. re: my comment "balancing or centering" and end link alignment of the rear bar, i'll check on this aspect this weekend i'm sure there is specific language about this, perhaps in the factor guide.

I have to admit that I cant see why a tie bar would do anything on our cars. Looking at the build of the stock cross bar it is hard to believe that there would be much flex being cured by one of these. The stock piece looks beefier than the $30 tie bar does. Looks maybe....
