Eibach Strut tower bar

Since the search is screwed up I am going to ask.

Does anyone have the Eibach STB? If so are you pleased with the quality? Does it work with the factory bar or is it a replacement?

Thanks

I don't have one, but I know it's a replacement and the factory bar must be removed.

i have it. it replaced the factory bar and it looks much better. i should be taking pics this weekend since there is a meet going on so i'll be sure to post them here. also, all the wires and shit that were connected to the stock one, won't connect to the eibach one. i just left them hanging there.

Im glad I asked because I don't like the fact that it replaces the stock bar, I like how the neuspeed bars works with the stock bar. The stock bar is nice since it attaches to the fire wall for added support

I've got it. To compensate for losing the stock strut bar, I traded my stocker to someone with a V6 Accord for his supports. Theirs come with supports that go from the strut to the firewall, but they don't have the bar that goes from strut to strut.

The Eibach bar is very high quality, and feels much sturdier than the stock strut bar.

how does the cusco bar feel? Is there any real difference in adding the cusco bar? Or is it just for looks?

The cusco is nice and it does retain the stock bar. I was only considering the eibach because optauto.com has it for $79

If you buy the Eibach, just sell or trade your stock strut bar to a V6 Accord owner for his/her firewall supports. I did a straight swap, but you might be able to get a few dollars for your strut bar.

peiqinglong- i've been looking for that bar and asked almost everywhere... every shop that i go to either has no clue or says that cusco doesn't make a bar for our cars or the 98+ accord, and if they do they have to special order it... where did you get yours and how much did you pay?

I have the Nuespeed one (and the stock one) and I didn't notice a difference. Looks okay but the springs and sways made WAY WWWAAAYYYY more difference.

i recently went from 17's that had a 45 offset, and I could tell a difference with the Neuspeed STB. When I put the stock rims back on, there was no difference with the STB on.

It kind of makes sense. With a lower offset, the wheels will have more of a force pushing the struts inward.

Or, I could be imagining things.

Either way, it's for sale in the black market as I just traded in my CL.
