Eibach Strut Bar is on...pics inside

it was a real pain in the ass trying to get the stock bar off because so many things were attached to it...but I prevailed here it is...

but what is the exact benefit?

yeah i've been driving it around for a day and a half now and it is tighter. the steering wheel feels a lot better and there is about 10% less body roll in the front. sways are next! plus it looks so much better than the stock...my car being silver and all. it's mostly cosmetic with a little performance thrown in.

I have the eibach, it's pretty stiff, you can tell when you drive how stiff it is, but also how hard it is to put it on. You have to kinda force it to fit in since it stiffens up the chasis.

you guys didn't like comptech much? what a surprise... i'll keep that in mind to get the eibachs. as far as springs, i only have the h&r sports and stock shocks for now. maybe one day when i get into the rotors/pads/rims area then i'll get something else. thanks for the comments

I went with Eibach because they are 1mm thicker in the rear than Comptech.

you have to use a rubber mallet or something to get it on there.

That looks real nice.

So the eibach STB doesn't bolt to the firewall like the stock strut bar?

i got that back part off by printing some directions on how to put the comptech strut bar on. you basically take off the two parts off the plastic moulding that's by the wipers. you will find clamps there to push off the plastic. then you just loosen up the bolts underneath. i got the part from chopper through our own black market. i don't know if you can find it anywhere else. thanks for the compliments.
