Eibach Pro Kit Info

Hi all! I am new to this forum but I have been reading a lot on these forums, lot's of useful info.

I have some information to share with you guys, around two weeks ago, I put some Eibach springs (pro-Kit) and Tokico Illumina shocks on my Cl Type S and I have some measurements to share with you guys.

For the people in the bay area I took my car to get the shocks and springs put in at Roger Kraus in Castro Valley, Ca. They did an Excellent job.

The car was lowered by the below measurements:

Before springs and shocks: (Front)
Left Fender Height: 27 3/6"
Right Fender Height: 27 13/16"

Before Springs and shocks: (Rear)
Left Fender Height: 27 3/4
Right Fender Height: 27 3/4

After Installing Eibach pro kit and Tokico Shocks: (Front)
Left Fender: 25 3/4"
Right Fender: 25 7/8"

(Rear)
Left Fender: 26"
Right Fender: 26"

If anyone was wondering how much the Eibach pro-kit lowered the car this is approx. how much it will lower it. These are actual readings from my car.

I am going to install the Comptech sway bars on my car on Monday. Can't wait!!

Post those specs as well, and then we can maybe use this thread as a FAQ for the Eibachs.

Thanks

How much of a difference do the shocks make, if any, in ride height and in the alignment?

I didn't think shocks lowered the car at all, but someone previously mentioned that they put certain shocks on their CL-S, don't remember which ones, and that it lowered their car which was using stock springs. So...which shocks drop the car, if the previous post was true, and by how much? I want to know because if I go with the Comptech springs, I'd like some shocks that'll help drop the rear a bit more.

So the Koni's that Comptech sells have this "adjustable perch?" What exactly does this mean? I obviously have no idea. How much of an additional drop would they allow for versus just using the Comptech springs? How much harsher would the ride be? And since the shocks lower the car further, would they give me camber, other alignment, and/or excessive tire wear problems?

The Tokico shocks and the springs make a difference( I have the Illumina adjustable) . I have the shocks to the number "4" setting (all 4 of them) and you can feel the difference,It made the car stiffer, but not dramatically stiffer. the car responds much better. Next week I am going to put the number "5" setting to see how much stiffer the suspension gets, I am also installing the comptech sway bars on Monday.
